My first control circuit works really simple. I used three potis as voltage dividers to generate 5.3V, 6.0V and 6.7V. The faders for steering and driving fade between the 5.3V and the 6.7V level. The 6.0V goes directly into the motordriver as reference. The 1K resistors are just for safety. It was interresting to see, how cheap and simple a control circuit for an electric wheelchair can be, compared to to the very complex original control device.
