The power supply, that I've documented in the entry of 9.11. was definitely not as powerful as I expected. My basic idea was to parallelize several linear voltage regulators to get the required amps through them. As I found out, this does not work. They just get hot and after a while, they start to explode with a lot of stinky smoke involved. During my research, I also read about different ideas, how linear regulators can be parallelized (it should work with resistors in between), but this doesn't seem to be a really good solution, so I will build that assembly again. The next time, I'll use switching regulators instead of linear regulators and I also will only use one regulator per circuit.
